While formally new, Almeida is no stranger to McDonough: He has been a professor and administrator at the school for more than two decades.According to his bio page, Almeida received a Ph.D. in international business and strategy and an M.A. in applied economics and managerial science from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a PGDM (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, and a B.E. in electrical engineering from the University of Poona, India.“As long as we are guided by what’s best for our students and scholarship,” he said, “we will build a stronger school, and I believe, have fun doing it.” Paul Almeida addressed faculty and staff at the annual State of the School event earlier this month.
